ICB Conversations 2006-07 Program
Conversations is a weekly Sunday program at the Center comprising of four ongoing
“serial conversations” with each individual “serial conversation” structured
around a single theme and comprising of lectures, seminars and group discussions
on topics relating to the “theme of the conversation”. Program seeks to provide
an opportunity to learn about Islam as a religion, as a way of life, and as an
energetic civilizational phenomenon that has changed the course of history many a times.
The program provides an opportunity to learn about Islam as a religion, as a way of life,

a times. The program is open to members as well as the general public. Non-members are
requested to contact Malik Khan, President and Program Organizer, at
president@icbwayland.org to receive an
invitation.
Four conversational gatherings are organized every month, with a “conversation” corresponding
to the first theme on the first Sunday of the month, a “conversation” corresponding to the
second theme on the second Sunday of the month and so on. For those occasions when a month
has five Sundays a general topic not related to the selected themes will be the used.
A notice about the theme, topic and date and time is emailed regularly and
posted on the these pages.
Every “serial conversation” is supervised by one or more anchor persons who
decide the thematic topic for a “conversation” in the series, format of the “conversation”
program and the main presenter(s) for the “conversation” in case they are not
giving the presentation themselves.
